Plot
When an 8-year-old girl goes missing in Caddo Lake, a series of deaths and disappearances from the past begin to connect, altering the story of a broken family. There’s a scene where Anna’s mom says Marshall County, then she says Harrison County.

Never Change, written by Dylan Altman, Rodney Clawson and Jake Mitchell, starring Rodney Clawson. Caddo Lake is a fascinating story that doesn’t fully begin until the “back half.” of the film.
I think it will take a second viewing to fully understand where the story ends
The first hour is slow and somewhat monotonous, but the twists and turns the narrative ends up taking more than make up for the poor pacing. Dylan O’Brien is strong here and it’s great to see him back in a leading role, but the script doesn’t give him much to go on.
Give the film time to develop
Verdict: Slow first half with an interesting story that ends on a strong note. I recommend this as an “easy” movie night.
