Or whether they chose the right actor to play RCB
Plot
It follows Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham, who are long-time rivals, and their rivalry comes to a head. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner previously filmed at Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same filming location was also used to portray Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC TV adaptation of Poldark. I haven’t read the books, so I can’t comment on how accurate it is.
It’s a bit cheesy
I can say, however, that I really enjoyed the series and really hope there’s a second season. But that makes it great TV. And a great escape from reality. I managed to watch the whole thing in 2 days.
I wish there were more episodes
It’s nice that they didn’t drag it out too much though. David Tennant is great, as usual. But I was actually more surprised by how good Danny Dyer was. I’ve seen him in a few things.
But he was brilliant
(Who hasn’t seen it) And I was a little skeptical seeing him in this. There are so many characters that I just love and some that I loved to hate. Too many to list. Highly recommend.
