Mufasa: The Lion King chronicles the unlikely rise of the beloved King of the Pride Lands and tasks Rafiki with passing on the legend of Mufasa to a young lion named Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala. Timon and Pumbaa share their signature tricks. Told in flashbacks, Mufasa is an orphaned cub, lost and alone until he meets a friendly lion named Taka – heir to the royal family. The chance encounter begins an expansive journey for this unlikely group of misfits searching for their destiny – their bonds are tested as they try to escape a dangerous and deadly enemy.
