The prequel to the original Dinah is about how the Rossak sisterhood became the Bene Gesserit. An incident involving the use of Valea Harkonnen’s voice was caused by the so-called “Dune Mentats”. All three books intertwine the development of the Sisterhood, the Mentat, the Navigator, and the Doctor Whores.
The quality was good
I find it pretty stupid how many people are complaining about this show after one decent pilot. I would give the first episode a 7.6. It’s not a masterpiece, but it’s definitely not the crap many of these stupid reviewers make it out to be.
NO, it’s not like Sex and the City
And YES, Benna Gesserit’s whole mission is to manipulate pedigree in politics. It’s talked about in movies and books, so why are you giving it 1 to 5 stars?! Let’s get a few more episodes out first, dammit!
