Four misfits are suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into a bizarre, cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination. To get home, they’ll have to master this world as they embark on a journey with an unexpected and expert craftsman. This film was originally going to be directed by Shawn Levy, but he left the project after disagreements with the developers of Minecraft, as they felt his idea didn’t fit the game.
